This St. Magdalener has grown in St. Peter, in the classic St. Magdalener zone. The estate is situated on a steep hillside facing southwest. The high mineral content of the soil gives the wine a special character and great longevity. The vines are 60 years old and the yield is around 7,500 kg/ha. The wine matures in large wooden barrels.

Tasting Notes | This St. Magdalener captivates with its pleasant aroma of cherries and raspberries, which comes from perfectly ripe grapes. On the palate it is harmonious. The good fullness is supported by a fine tannin that gives the wine a long finish. |
Food Pairing | This wine is an extremely versatile companion at the table. Thanks to its soft tannins, it is one of the few red wines that can also be enjoyed chilled. At 13°C: with fish, especially salt cod risotto or any fish and shellfish in tomato broth, such as seafood pasta. At 16–18°C: with starters such as dumplings, pasta dishes, risottos, vegetables, cold cuts, light game and pizza. |
