100% Lagrein
This wine is grown in Bolzano, the classic Lagrein area. The estate is located on an alluvial cone of gravel and sand deposited by the Talfer river. The high mineral content of the soil imparts a special character and excellent ageing potential to the wine. The vines are on average 30 years old with yields around 6,000 kg/ha. Ageing took place one third each in large wooden casks, 500-litre tonneaux and used barriques for 42 months.
